I definitively endorse one to study in University of California Santa Cruz. It is like a bundle of just absolute epic time.
First of all, Santa Cruz is recognized as the place where the forest meets the sea. Fantastic outdoor spots, mountain biking, surfing, an elegant downtown location, superb coffee shops, vegan eateries along with the Santa Cruz Boardwalk.
I would love to tell you all about the academics, that it is diverse, enriching and highly excellent professors to tell you all the tricks of the trade. UCSC is actually widely known for its space and astronomy science field, along with computer technology and multimedia art. The classes are not that all boring like you would expect, and if you take the time to get to know your classmates and professors, you would be amazed with their diverse knowledge about the world. You could even meet Pulitzer Prize winners, famous broadcasters and successful writers while you're roaming around.
But if you'd ask anyone who have attended in that university, for sure they would mention the libraries. The libraries are not the biggest, nor the most well-stocked but all the other things make it stand out from the rest. First, you have to pass by the bridge so you could enter and then when you get inside, you are rewarded of your efforts with a large picture of Cherry Blossoms in its most magnificent time of the year. It also features an open glass style that take you back to nature.
As to the environment, did I point out that you could go immersing themselves in in the forest there? In my opinion, the perfect time to put on your jacket as well as hunter wellies and start on a mini adventure is actually when you find yourself stuck on a report or you need a change from the library. In case you don't wish to lay on the grass and the animals, you can head on to the fitness center and indulge in the expanse of the Monterey bay and the field when jogging on the treadmill.
Don't be misled by visualizing it is just about trees and shrubs and forests and bridges. The university comes with a many more if you choose to remain inside. Shopping, eating, midnight movie showings. Between the many trees and the wildlife are the up-to-date and historic structures alike. The structures are a distance away from each other thus there's essentially zero possibility of disturbances from other colleges.
There is a huge selection of groups and organizations that one could be a member of. Right now there are athletics, music, art, engineering and social, just to name some. There are a lot of dormitory houses inside the campus and nearly all the freshmen live there. In my opinion, it is the fastest way to find new contacts. Overnight gatherings are even granted!
University of California in Santa Cruz is one of the world's most prestigious universities in the heard of thousands of acres of forest and meadow lands. It offers other programs such as financial aids, tutorial services, sponsored events and work study programs. I have come to cherish the time I spent here and if I was asked if I could change anything, I'd probably say nothing.
