Why I Love UCLA

By Chris Werner

UCLA may be the smallest UC but don't be fooled. It has a lot of activities and sights that will keep you busy. If you like to go to parties, the campus offers more than enough parties throughout the day and night. If you are looking for a more relaxing day, you can go to Santa Monica to try the restaurants there or lay on the beach. There are also a lot of Hollywood destinations that you can go to near the campus grounds or if you want, just sit inside a movie theater and watch a film.

The reason why I enjoy UCLA is because it is a remarkable campus. The professors are very intelligent with world-renowned programs that provide opportunities to every industry. The social scene is just amazing and all the more enjoyable in an incredible city and its fantastic weather conditions.

For the sports fan I recommend that you see the JD Morgan Center and also the UCLA Hall of Fame. It boasts a brief history concerning UCLA sporting events. UCLA boasts a sports legacy second to none. It houses far more NCAA titles more than anybody. Go Bruins!

This campus has it all. There is a student organization for every religion, activity, interest, hobby and culture. Yes, there is even a break-dancing group and a group for fantasy role-playing games. You can find your interests here no matter who you are and where you grew up. It's a huge university for sure but I guarantee you you'll fall in deeply love with it.

Aside from the weather, campus and even beautiful people, UCLA has amazing campus safety and security measures. UCLA offers complete, non-stop protection as well as a free of charge roving evening bus if you need to remain campus late evening.

What's also great about the UCLA campus is that everyone is super friendly. There's also a ton of great eating options on campus from Taco Bell, Jamba Juice, Yoshinoya, Carl's Jr, Panda, Sushi, etc.!

UCLA is the perfect university. I highly recommend anyone that may want to attend.
