Building A Catholic Bible Blog

By Stella Gay

If you need to make a religious blog that works in getting the opinion of different people, then allow this article to put you in that stage. Be reminded that you cannot just write anything that you like in here. There will be some limits since there a few things that you have to respect as Catholic.

The first thing that you would have to do in here is know why you are about to start with this project in the first place. A Catholic bible blog is not something that you can just play with. You would have to take this seriously since some Catholics would be looking for you work seeking answers.

Second, write your reaction about your favorite passage. That will lead you to come up with a long first post that can get people hooked with your work. As you could see, first impressions are really important in here. Also, once you put yourself out there, then people will realize that this is more than just a past time for you.

Third, you would have to copy everything that you have read in the Bible. Remember that you are not allowed to change what has been said in the Scriptures. These things are sacred. You can use them as a point of reference and you can also interpret them but that is it. You cannot beyond that since you would be criticized.

Pick the tone that you are comfortable writing in. Take note that you cannot be too joyous in here. You have built to inform people what they have been missing in life. If you will not stick to that purpose, then your readers will start to doubt the usefulness of your blog and that can be shameful.

If you do not have a name for your site yet, then ask for the opinion of the other members of your family. In that way, you will be able to easily increase your range of options. Be reminded that not any name will do. It has to make sense and it needs to be related to the things that you will be writing about.

Never be a lazy blogger. Be reminded that you have intended your site to be an interactive platform. If you will not post something for several weeks, then your readers will leave you one by one until you no longer have someone who believes that you are a voice worth listening to.

You would have to be consistent with your tone. Keep in mind that you are trying to make a name for yourself in here. So, you have to be known for one thing in the least. If you have always been a funny person, then captivate people with your humor and dry wit. That is how you can become a sensation.

Overall, be firm with what you believe in. However, try not to use offensive words. That is not how you must live your life as a full pledged Christian. Besides, people are truly entitled to say what is on their mind.
