By Kevin Cooper

A long time adage say girls are complicated creatures. Creatures that suddenly burst into tears with extreme mood swings, is dependent on their emotions to understand the world, and the only place they belong to is the kitchen and the family. Today women are not only found in the scullery baking sweets and making meals. But are now donning chic corporate outfits and heading massive campaigns and organizations.

History is filled with so many stories about strong and powerful men taking charge of hundreds of other men while usurping a tribe, nation, and its people. But in times of war there are those who take a stand against the system such as famous women in history. Warring tribes in ancient times often engaged in war not because they hate one another. But territorial instincts are strong and the need to secure provision against mother natures fickle seasons and climate changes.

Basic survival skills that have been passed on from mother to daughter while men often have to learn these things by their own experiences from outside the hearth. A legal mandate proclaims that Women week will be celebrated every year on the first week of March. And international peace day and women rights are celebrated on 8 of March.

But never gave us the full details of why things were so. Slavery was a common social rank in ancient times and many aristocratic and noble families had slaves. Today slavery is looked on as negative social stigma.

In another country during a time when the English campaigned to take over France. A small unlikely hero came out who inspired the revolt against these invaders. Leading an army to victory but after being captured by the enemy was sentenced to death by burning on a stake and was called a witch. This shows that even though the woman had a strong faith in god and relied on the inner strength that only a faithful servant had.

Children were important aspects in the lives of many parents because once they have passed on from life. Because parents want to pass on what they leave behind on their offspring. Children carrying on the history and existence of their bloodlines.

When wars were wage by the higher powers of society they often exchanges their offspring as peace offerings that strengthen the relationship between races. These political marriages often quelled the restlessness. It made them forget what the real issue was, and often enjoyed this momentary peace until it is disturbed again.

During times of war and death a medical team is an indispensable aid. Many sick and dying soldiers who have lost more than one limb suffers in blood stained beds. Before nurses were called wet maids that only helped in baby sitting for families and women had recently gave birth. These days a nurse is now a respectable professional that promotes the well being of every human.

And from the queens line came another powerful queen to lead the British away from the slump it had been in. Even though girls may have come a long way there are still many things that a woman can still accomplish. Now you should not feel so bad being born as a girl.
