To become a military lawyer would involve the combination of two careers, the Judge Advocate General Corps and the JAG Corps. Being an officer of General Corps must have the opportunities of respect, career, and duties of a certain officer in order to provide a high quality of services to the duty servicemen and to the women. In the JAG Corps are the skilled and the professional lawyers that handle trained leaders, service community members, and legal issues.

These professional attorneys are those people who are involved to cases that are broad and these cases are about contract and the fiscal law, military justice, international and the operational law, civil and the administrative law. This career is highly beneficial to the young lawyers in the city Evergreen, CO who have so much interests in challenging themselves by experiencing the different fields. These following paragraphs are the 10 different areas which are part of military law practice Evergreen CO.

First, criminal law. The judge advocates can act as defense counsel or prosecutors in courts martial. And after they can obtain their experiences in trial level, they can act as an appellate counsel. Second, legal assistance. Those who are working in the legal assistance will provide counsel to the retirees and soldiers, and even to their families about the issues. Issues may include family acts, estate planning, consumer protection, etc.

Third is the civil litigation. The army is being affected by some of these issues or cases, and thus, judge advocates are those people who will investigate and will prepare for trial cases. In doing this, they will coordinate with the justice departments. Similar to corporate supervisors and also the CEOs would depend on those corporate lawyers in civilian practices, those judge advocates will provide also their legal advices towards staff officers and the commanders.

Fifth is labor law. An army can be considered as being involved to a labor litigation. The advocates will advise those commanders about all aspects of relations in labor management concerning union matters in both public and private sectors. They also are the representation of the army for the administrative hearings and also for the federal courts.

Sixth, international laws. There are a lot of questions that will arise about interpreting the international agreements and the foreign laws. Tenth, contract laws. The army are dealing with large amounts of contracts as being part of the budget. So the purpose of advocates is to review these contracts for the services, research and development, supplies, and construction. They may also render the legal opinions of bid protests, contract appeal dispute, procurement procedures, and contract terminations.
