For one, never drink on an empty stomach, this only causes the alcohol to be easily absorbed by your brain. You get intoxicated faster. Eat a lot first before you take your swig. Also, keep your drinking to the minimum.

Your vehicle needs to be in its best working capacity before you will decide to get one. It should be kept in is best shape before you will drive it. Have the right papers secured and prepared as well. Then, you will not have a hard time producing them should an officer flag you down and wants to see them.

Obey the traffic rules while you drive as well. Following these regulations to a tee would definitely give you so much better chance towards avoiding getting flagged down by the traffic enforcers. They would have no reason to actually flag you down since they know that you are following the rules and is not violating anything.

If there are planned checkpoints in your area, you want to consider knowing where they are supposed to be done first. Check your local newspaper. Most of the time, these checkpoints will be announced here. Thus, giving you the opportunity to actually better prepare for these instances. Then, you won't have any reason to act inappropriately that might cause the wrong signals to set off.
